Homenetmen-GAMK's athletics division fields 27 teams across 5 sports, Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, Floor Hockey, and Pickleball — developing Armenian-Canadian youth through sport, sportsmanship, and the Homenetmen spirit.
For over six decades, Homenetmen-GAMK Montreal has fielded competitive Armenian-Canadian teams in provincial leagues and Pan-Homenetmen tournaments across North America and Worldwide. From our youngest athletes to our senior open divisions, every player is part of something bigger than the game.
We believe athletics is a classroom; one where discipline, teamwork, and Armenian identity are built one practice, one game, one season at a time. Our coaches are volunteers, mentors, and leaders who give their time because they, too, were once Homenetmen athletes.
Our basketball program is led by a Technical Director and a Head Coach who oversee the boys' and girls' divisions.
With the completion of our new soccer field on the horizon in late-summer 2027, our program is ramping up — training our teams and preparing for registration in competitive leagues.
Our volleyball program is guided by two coaches, one for each team, committed to building one of the region's strongest competitive programs within the Armenian community.
Basketball, soccer, and volleyball registrations begin each August. Whether your athlete is 6 or 60, there's a roster spot waiting. No prior experience needed, just heart and hustle.
